ROOFLINE REPLACEMENT

Give your roofline a cleaner, longer-lasting finish

Fascias and soffits do an important job around the edge of your roof, but over time older timber and tired roofline can start to let the whole exterior of your home down.

Replacing them with modern uPVC roofline gives you a neat, low-maintenance finish while helping protect the roof edge and support your guttering. We can replace individual elements or look at the full roofline, including fascias, soffits, guttering and associated trims, depending on what your home needs.

Roofline replacement can be carried out as a standalone project or as part of a wider exterior upgrade alongside new external doors or replacement windows, helping you create a more coordinated finish across the whole home.

FASCIAS & SOFFIT REPLACEMENT DUNDEE

Why replace old fascias and soffits with uPVC?

Fascias, soffits and guttering all form part of the roofline around your home. Together, they help protect the roof edge from Scottish weather, manage rainwater and keep the exterior properly finished. Replacing older roofline with modern uPVC can improve protection, reduce maintenance and give your home a cleaner, more coordinated finish.

Upgrade a tired exterior

Weathered timber, peeling paint and ageing roofline can make the outside of your home look worn. Replacing old fascias and soffits with uPVC gives the roof edge a fresh, durable finish while improving the overall appearance of the property.

Low maintenance

Timber roofline can need regular painting and upkeep to keep it protected. uPVC soffits and fascias require far less maintenance, giving you a longer-lasting finish without the ongoing cycle of sanding, painting and repainting.

Protect the roof edge

Fascias, soffits and guttering help protect vulnerable areas around the roofline. A properly fitted system helps manage rainwater, closes off gaps around the eaves and can help discourage birds, insects and other pests from finding their way into the roof space.

Finished to suit your home

Replacement fascias, soffits and guttering are available in a range of colours and finishes. This means your new roofline can complement your new windows, external doors and the wider style of your home rather than feeling like a separate addition.

UPVC ROOFLINE

What makes up your roofline?

Your roofline is made up of several different components around the edge of your roof. Each has its own role, but together they help protect the roof edge, manage rainwater, support ventilation where needed and give the outside of your home a properly finished appearance.

  • Fascia boards run along the lower edge of the roof and provide the fixing point for your guttering. Because they are exposed to the weather, older timber fascias can become worn, cracked or difficult to maintain over time. Replacing them with uPVC gives the roof edge a durable, low-maintenance finish.

  • Soffits sit underneath the roof edge, between the fascia and the exterior wall. They close off the underside of the eaves, helping to create a neat finish and reduce open gaps around the roofline. Ventilated soffits can also help provide airflow into the roof space where required.

  • Guttering collects rainwater from the roof and directs it towards the downpipes, helping carry water safely away from the property. When fascias and soffits are being replaced, older guttering and downpipes can also be upgraded as part of a complete roofline replacement.

  • Bargeboards are fitted along the sloping edges of a roof or gable and help protect and finish these exposed areas. Together with the appropriate trims and finishing pieces, they help give a replacement roofline a clean, complete appearance.
