For a final accurate quote, we’ll need to measure your door or windows properly and confirm the specification with you.
Every home is slightly different, so accurate measurements are essential before we prepare a final quote. During a design visit, we’ll check the size, fit and any practical details that may affect your door or window specification. This helps us make sure your quote is clear, accurate and based on what’s actually needed for your home - and no hidden costs later.
During your home design visit, one of our designers will talk through your ideas, assess your current door or windows, and guide you through suitable styles, colours, finishes and practical options.
We’ll also take the measurements needed to prepare an accurate quote. Door appointments usually take around 30–45 minutes, while window appointments may take around 45–60 minutes, depending on the project.
Absolutely not. Your design visit is there to help you explore your options, ask questions and understand what would work best for your home. Once we’ve measured up and confirmed the details, we’ll prepare your quote so you can consider everything properly in your own time.We want you to be confident in the investment you are making.
Our door and window installation service includes the supply and professional fitting of your new external doors or double glazed windows, with installation carried out by our experienced joinery team. We’ll remove and responsibly recycle your old units where possible, take care to leave your home tidy once the work is complete - and make sure everything is finished properly.
You’ll also receive a 10-year guarantee for added peace of mind, along with aftercare support from the Doorquay team should you need us after installation.
Our door fitters and window fitters install our made-to-measure external doors and replacement windows products across Dundee, Angus, Fife and Perthshire - including our front doors, back doors, composite doors, upvc doors, upvc windows and premium composite doors from Rockdoor. Yes we do offer finance options for our doors and windows. Finance facilities are provided by Phoenix Financial Services and are subject to application and approval. For more information about finance, please ask during your doors and windows design appointment.
