A Warmer, More Secure Home in Broughty Ferry

We recently worked on Greg’s home in Broughty Ferry, Dundee - carrying out a full doors and windows replacement to improve comfort ahead of the winter months.

Having only recently moved into the family home, one of the first priorities was replacing the original timber windows and doors that had been in place since the property was built. With a young family, reducing draughts and creating a warmer, more secure environment was important from day one.

Following a design appointment, Greg chose a combination of VEKA casement windows and tilt and turn windows throughout the property. At the rear, we installed modern, secure patio doors to strengthen what had previously felt like a more vulnerable part of the home.

The finishing touch was a Rockdoor Aspen in Agate Grey - a solid composite front door designed for both strong security and improved thermal performance. Carefully specified and fitted, it now provides a reassuring, well-finished entrance that complements the home’s updated look.
