The Story Behind The Upgrade
Debbie lives in a traditional stone-built home in a rural part of Fife, where privacy and security are particularly important. With open surroundings and less neighbouring properties nearby, choosing a front door that felt strong and reassuring was key.
Thermal efficiency was also a major factor. Stone homes are a great choice for a family home, but they can also lose heat easily - especially through older entrance doors. Reducing draughts and creating a warmer hallway space ahead of winter was high on the priority list.
